Ok, people. See that cute baby? That’s my baby sister, Alanna. And if some mountains don’t get moved by next Friday (September 7th) she will no longer have a home, and will be in danger of being removed from our care. I usually hate asking people for things, especially strangers, but I’ve seen how amazing the tumblr community can be and figured I’d give it a shot. My mother is about $750 short on rent and she can’t return to her (minimum-wage) job for another two weeks. We have done every single thing we can think of, and while we managed to pay off a good chunk of it, it still isn’t enough. A notice was officially posted today that if we don’t have the remaining total, plus court fees and late fees, we will have 24 hours to be completely moved out and gone. I am hoping that there are some generous people out there who will donate anything to keep my family in our home.
